Lot #449 - Here is an absolutely gorgeous convertible in unbelievable original condition. It is a numbers matching 350cid/350hp, factory 4-speed car with both tops. This car has all of its original documents from new including the original Window Sticker, original Protect-O-Plate, original sales invoice, letter from GM, dealer brochure, radio manual, visor starting instructions, Corvette owner's card, original owner's manual and manual holder. This car is loaded with a lot of desirable factory options. It even has a set of dealer-installed fog lights. This was bought on November 20, 1969 at Lew Williams Chevrolet Center in Sacramento, CA, and was owned by the original owner until 1989. I have a whole folder of receipts documenting the maintenance history on the car including canceled checks. I even have a letter written to the second owner from the original owner, hoping he enjoys the Corvette as much as he did. It's loaded with the following equipmentL Soft Ray tinted glass, deluxe front shoulder belts, posi-traction axle 3.70 ratio, auxiliary hardtop, audio alarm system, headrests, original factory AM/FM radio, original Rally wheels, BFG white letter tires, etc. The exterior of this rare car is in beautiful totally original condition. This car still retains 99% of its original paint. This is an original color coded Monaco Orange car that, for being all original, it looks outstanding. All of the chrome and stainless on the car is totally original and still looks great. There are a couple of flaws on the rear bumper but they are very minor. Everything on the car lines up just the way it did from the factory because nothing has been tampered with on this car. The frame is 100% rust free and solid as a rock. The interior is mostly all original and looks just like is did back in 1969. The door panels, carpet and dash are all original. Both of the seats were redone because of some ware on the driver's seat. All the chrome and stainless in the interior are in perfect show quality condition and show no signs of pitting. The dash is in perfect condition and the dash face and gauges are all like new. All the gauges work as they should. All the courtesy lights as well as all the running lights work as they should. All the glass on the car is original and looks excellent. It also has a brand new black softtop. Mechanically, this '69 Corvette convertible is in excellent condition. The original numbers matching engine purrs like a kitten and sounds awesome. The original 4-speed transmission shifts perfect and it still has all of its original California smog equipment. It features its original spare, jack and tools. The underside is all original and is totally solid.
