Description
Lot #789.3 - This real LS6 car was purchased new by my uncle in 1970 and I bought it from him in 1983. It has never been in an accident or ever been modified in any way. The last year of Georgia inspections was September of 1981 and the inspection verified at that time an odometer reading of 13,442 miles. I purchased in 1983 with approximately 14,000 miles. It now has 15,376 original miles. The only things I have done is preserve any stickers or labels and photographed any paint, grease pen or inspection marks on any part of car including the type of plating on any and all fasteners. I carefully cleaned the frame and all attached parts, and re-painted it the original semi-gloss black. I cleaned and reinstalled the exact same nuts and bolts in their proper place as documented by photos. This car was assembled in Arlington, Texas. The original Window Sticker, Protect-O-Plate and other supporting paperwork is included. It still has its original spark plug wires, headlights, carpet, all interior components, alternator, valve covers, engine and all engine components, transmission and rear axle. Only the fuel tank has been replaced and it was purchased new at the Chevy dealer in 1984. I still have the original. The car has a dealer-added Cowl Hood, stripes and factory gauges that were installed at the time of purchase. All paint on the underside, sides and some of top is original. The stripes had to be redone because of crows feet and, of course, some of the green under the stripes had to be redone as well as a result of removing the white stripes. You cannot tell where this was blended in, as original DuPont lacquer was used and I still have a small can left for touch ups.
