Lot #481 - An original, numbers matching 1971 BOSS 351 Mustang that was purchased at Yaz Ford, a dealership owned by Baseball Hall of Famer, Carl Yastrzemski, on February 24th, 1971. Complete documentation and owner History comes in a binder with the car. The car is the correct bright red color and has the completely original, numbers matching drivetrain that it left the factory with. The car was built on February 3, 1971, and sold to Yaz Ford in Lynn, MA. The car was completely restored several years ago and truly needs nothing. Interior and exterior are in very nice condition. The door data tag reads as follows: 1=1971, F=Built in Dearborn, 02=Mustang sportroof, R=351-4V BOSS (yes it has the original carburetor still on it along with VIN on Block), 63D=Mustang sportroof, 3=Bright Red paint, 1A=Black Ruffino/Corinthian vinyl bucket seats, V=3.91 Traction Lock axle ratio, 5= 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission and 11=Boston ordering district. The side and back glass are all original. Complete documentation including all owners, Marti Report, original Build Sheet, invoice, original owner Credit Life Form which is very rare, and many other documents are all included in a binder that comes with the car. It also includes a vintage Yaz Ford ad from April 6th, 1971 that was in the Record American Paper from Boston, MA., 1971 car care and operation manual, 1971 operating features manual, '71 Mustang accessory price list and '71 Ford sales brochure. Only 1,806 of these cars were ever made. Not many are still in existence with the original parts and drivetrain, complete and thorough documentation and in this kind of condition.
