Description
Lot #107 - Top-of-the-line Corsa model that was completely restored in beautiful bronze paint. The interior is also restored to impeccable condition in stunning tan and black color combination. Absolutely everything works as it should including all gauges, electrical, lights and even the original clock which keeps correct time. In 1965, Chevrolet introduced the "second generation" Corvair body style which included the all new Corsa model. The Corsa was an upgrade from the Monza model with additional gauges, detailing and body styling. Corsas were only offered for two years, 1965-1966, making them very rare and desirable. Corsa Corvairs came with only the two top engines offered in Corvairs, the 140hp 4 carburetor, and the 180hp Turbo-charged. This Corsa is a correct, numbers matching 140hp 4 carburetor coupled to a 4-speed transmission. It rides impeccably and is a pure joy to drive with absolutely no indications that it is a 42-year-old vehicle. It is tight, responsive and agile on the road.
