Specifics include Cowl hood with lock down pins, white "Heavy Chevy" decal stripe kit, heavy duty front/rear suspension, heavy duty springs, new shock absorbers, blacked out headlight bezels, new grille and deleted chrome exterior. Documentation includes copy of original certificate of title, original Build Sheet and blue door jamb decal - (date: 4/71) Arlington, Texas. Numbers: Front of engine block: II RI 74258/T041 4CGC. Numbers on heads: 3973487, D1871 and GM Conv. 4. Numbers on block: GM3870014, D271, Conv.2, T25 and DNV2. Cowl tag numbers: ST-71-13437, TR-736, 04C375, BDYR04462 and PNT-49-II. This is a numbers matching car with the original engine, transmission and rear differential. This car is equipped with an L65 350cid with 245hp engine with a High Performance cam. The engine was rebuilt at 40,182 original miles. This car also has a 10-bolt posi-traction GW2 256 ratio axle. The car was assembled at the Arlington plant in Texas. The manufacturer's date was April 14, 1971. The purchase date was July 10, 1971. We are the second owners of this car. This car was purchased new by its first owner at Santa Fe Motor Company in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Restoration details: The frame-up restoration includes all new interior. The original vinyl floor was replaced with carpet. The original cloth/vinyl seats were upholstered with all vinyl. The front and rear door panels, steering wheel, dash pad, rear quarter panels and rear speaker panel were all replaced. The original AM radio was replaced with an AM/FM stereo/cassette player with a bowtie face plate. All interior components are in working condition. All original parts, such as steering wheel, dash pad, rear view mirror and water pump, all come with the car. It was our purpose to restore this car to its original design. The car is equipped with a dual Flowmaster exhaust system and chrome extensions, replacing the single exhaust system the car had originally. The trunk has been detailed with the correct paint and trunk mat. The car also has the original 1971 stamped car jack and case. The tires are new with a matching spare. It is equipped with the original 6 slot ZJ7 Rally rims with the steel fluted caps with bowtie. The original front and rear bumpers were replaced with new bumpers. All of the undercarriage and engine compartment were detailed. The exhaust system and stereo were the only major changes and upgrades made to this car. The exterior of this car is in excellent condition. The car was professionally painted a beautiful white over dark green metallic, D99 two tone code. All of the weather stripping on the car was replaced.
