Description
Lot #795 - A full custom '55 Chevy from frame to interior. Built by Alabama Pro Performance who's last build, a gorgeous '57 Chevy, was featured on "Barrett-Jackson: Life on the Block". Subtle body mods and new sheet metal, ultra smooth black and Charcoal Gray base coat/clear coat paint set this car apart from the pack. All chrome is new and stainless re-polished to a show finish. All glass is new. Street Rod Garage built the custom chassis with a Heidts independent rear end utilizing a Ford 9" with 3.23 gears. A polished aluminum driveshaft connects the rear to a Richmond 6-speed. All suspension pieces are chromed. A GM ZZ572 with a Fuel Injected Hogan intake along with a coil per cylinder ignition controlled by FAST engine management powers this beast to 620hp and 650 pounds of torque. The polished 3" stainless steel exhaust with Magna Flow mufflers sounds incredible. The car has polished Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners connected to Torq Thrust II wheels, 18x8 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. Those are mounted to BFGoodrich tires. A chrome Ididit column connects to a chrome power rack & pinion steering from Unisteer. The suspension uses two chrome coilovers in front and four in the rear. The interior was stitched up in beautiful black and charcoal gray leather by award-winning interior artist Shannon Walters. A Pioneer Avic Z2 DVD/Navigation touchscreen head unit with Sirius radio and Bluetooth controls a high end JL Audio sound system. A custom dash, Vintage Air and lots of chrome complete the stunning interior. The car truly must be seen in person to fully appreciate.
