Lot #359.2 - This hardcore 1955 Chevy 210 Pro Street with Bel Air appearance upgrades is as clean as they come. The car was restored in 2002 by B.E. Cooper. The suspension was built by C&C Customs. The restored Chevy was originally purchased from Bad Boyz Toyzz, which is a division of Bad Toys Holdings, Inc. in Johnson City, TN. The purchaser was Don Norris of Ft. Myers, Florida. The vehicle was recently purchased by its current owner in February 2008. The exterior paint is a beautifully done bright Canary Yellow. Chrome trim accents the car as do the front and rear chrome bumpers. The vent windows have been deleted as well as the exterior door handles. The interior consists of bucket seats up front with a custom center console. The rear seat is a bench style. Both front and rear seating is upholstered with Buckskin leather. The carpet is beige along with the custom upholstered interior door panels. Interior features also include: tilt Billet steering wheel, Vintage Air conditioning, digital gauges, B&M Racing shifter, CD player, tinted window glass, power windows, power steering and power driver's seat. The tubbed Chevy is powered by a high performance 454cid big block Chevrolet engine with a Holley carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, Delco H.E.I. ignition system, N.O.S. Pro Shot, March accessory brackets, polished aluminum valve covers, braided stainless steel lines through-out, Edelbrock water pump, Billet pulleys, custom radiator/condenser/core support bracket assembly, dual electric fans, and ceramic coated full length headers. Shifting is done by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The exhaust exits through custom dual exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers and before-rear-tire side pipes with stainless tips. The wheels are Billet Specialties Wheels. Front tires are 225/45 ZR17. Rear tires Arte 31X18 R15 Mickey Thompson S/R Sportsman radials. The rear suspension consists of a custom ladder bar/5-link system with Air Ride air suspension allowing the rear of the car to be raised and lowered. The shortened Ford 9" rear end houses 3.73 gears and locker. In the trunk, you will find leather and carpet to match the custom interior. The trunk is also home to the fuel cell, battery carrier, and chrome Nitrous bottle. This car is a show stopper and a definite head-turner. The car also performs and drives great.
