Description
Lot #903 - This car was owned by one family in Missouri from 1974 until 2004. The gentleman drove the car only in good weather and treated the car like part of the family. After his death in 2004, his family decided to let this car move onto a new family. The car is very original including original paint, interior and engine. This car has the original metal Ownercard, dated 2-2-73, original owner's manual and original AM/FM stereo radio operating manual all in like new condition. The car has the original paint and shows no evidence of body or paint work. The paint color is Sequoia Brown Metallic and the paint is in good shape all over the car. Being over 30 years old there occasional rock chips or minor scratches, but the paint is generally quite good. There is no waviness and all body gaps appear correct. The doors, hood and trunk lid all open and close nicely. The vinyl top is in great shape. The chrome and exterior trim is very nice. While the whole car is very nice, the interior is really exceptional. The headliner and visors are flawless. The rear seats look like they have never been set in. The front seats have slight creases in the leather which look great. The leather is very soft and supple. The carpet and is very clean and nice. The engine compartment is as you would expect from an original car of this vintage. Very decent and orderly but has not been detailed or messed with. The car starts and runs very nicely. Excellent acceleration and braking. The engine does not smoke, not on starting up or while driving.
