Description
Lot #329.1 - Not only is this one of only 521 Corvair convertibles made in 1969, its final production year, but it's also a true survivor, non-restored car, having only new paint and top. It is 100% complete and original, including numbers matching engine and transmission, correct Buttermilk Yellow paint and black power top, interior, dash and carpet, and even the original spare tire in the trunk. This Corvair is equipped with the largest engine available in 1969, the 140hp quad-carb with a 4-speed transmission. This car was traded in 1971 by its original owner in Texas where it remained in a Chevy showroom. More recently it has been in a showroom in Delaware. A rare Corvair.
