Lot #65 - This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback recently had an extensive 3 year nut and bolt restoration. An original numbers matching car restored retaining the original 289 engine, C4 automatic transmission and all original body panels. The engine was completely rebuilt with a .02 over bore, new pistons, mild Crane cam, Dart heads, roller tip rockers, water, fuel and oil pump, harmonic balancer, Edelbrock 600 cfm Performer series carb, Edelbrock Performer series intake manifold, Hooker headers, all aluminum radiator, MSD Ignition, MSD Distributor, MSD Coil and plug wires. The original C4 transmission was also completely rebuilt and has a mild stall converter. New 3" custom exhaust system, wiring, Vintage Air conditioning system (R-134), new power steering system, new front and rear suspension with KYB shocks, new brake system with discs up front, new front windshield and rear fastback glass, rubber and weather stripping, interior and chrome. New chrome over aluminum Crager S/S wheels with Goodyear Radial T/A tires. Custom sound system with a Harmon Kardon iPod controller and Blaupunkt/Sony components. This vehicle is a great example of a mid-60's muscle car and is always a head turner on the street and at car shows.
