Lot #332 - 1971 Oldsmobile 442 W30 automatic with air conditioning. 1 of 563 with air conditioning. Only 810 1971 W30's were built. It has the original matching numbers engine, transmission and fully functional Ram Air with a fiberglass hood. The carb is a non-numbers matching Quadra-Jet but the car comes with the original numbers matching carb, which would need to be rebuilt. It has the correct "H" heads, aluminum intake and original type exhaust. The rear end was replaced sometime in its history with a GTO 3.73 ratio posi-traction unit and it does have the proper anti-sway bar. The engine had a complete rebuild about 10,000 miles ago. The car has an automatic transmission coded "OW" with a Hurst his/hers shifter. The interior is super nice and it also has a factory inside hood lock. The car has power steering and power front disc brakes. It also has some nice options: Air conditioning that is fully functional and cold, matching vinyl roof, complete gauges with Tic-Toc clock/tachometer, AM/FM radio, TH400 transmission, interior convenience light group and a underdash 8-track. The body is super straight. All doors, hood and trunk close properly and the correct color metallic paint is beautiful with no fading, chips or scratches. She rides on a nice set of BF Goodrich radial T/A's P245/60 mounted on Super Stock I wheels. The underbody is also very clean condition and all suspension parts are in excellent condition. The car comes with a complete binder of information including the Broadcast Sheet and the KD Traveler Tag, owner's manual, warranty pamphlet, past ownership info, original car ads, Olds info and repair/work invoices. Car was manufactured in Lansing, MI, which is the only place W30's were made. Car is #216 of 810 made in 1971.
