On March 13, 1969, the proud owners from Phoenix took possession of their new 1969 Mustang. By Saturday night, they hit the drags for the inaugural run. The car turned in times of 13.9 @ 104mph. Campaigned by a great owner/driver for the next few years. The drag car won many local and regional races with times as low as 13.20 @ 109mph. The car was then street driven for a few years, retired and stored in the early 80's. In early 2006, I ended up with the car. 2 years later, we rolled out the complete nut and bolt restoration. The driveline is complete and correct including the evaporative emissions original smog equipment. The 1969 Mustang 428 SCJ sportsroof looks "showroom stock". A full book of the restoration including pictures of the 2-year process, original owner's contact information and receipts are included. This vehicle is rare, desirable and investment quality. How rare. One of one.
