Lot #937.2 - 1984 Certified Police Special. Part of actor Don Johnson's personal collection. Has a great history. This bike was purchased originally in California as a Cop Bike then by the movie and television star, Robert Carradine for his own personal enjoyment. Mr. Carradine has this machine meticulously maintained and much custom work including paint, etc. Don purchased this machine in the late 80's and it eventually ended up in Colorado. Dan from Spring Valley Choppers got the bike road ready by replacing foot boards, battery and a full tune. The paint was starting to show its age so SVC contacted Steve Grindle Customs of Grand Junction, CO, to do the fenders, tanks and side panels. When they were finished, SVC reassembled these with new chrome front. This bike is a real eye-catcher. Own a piece of history that never will go out of style.
