Description
Lot #1029 - This pristine, recently restored frame-off, matching numbers, 383 big block, 4-speed 'Cuda was restored for actor/pro wrestler Bill Goldberg. Extremely well documented and has an incredible large book of history. Formerly owned by Mopar racer Al Corda and was then bought and restored by Bill Goldberg. It has been featured in "Mopar Muscle" magazine and Mopar's E-body Challenger and 'Cuda" book in 2005. By the time 1970 came around, Plymouth had gotten it right. With a slew of performance packages to fit anyone's desire, the 'Cuda had not only shed its boring image but had become a force to be reckoned with. This 383 powered Lemon Twist Yellow example is especially rare. Of the 635 'Cuda convertibles produced in 1970, only 68 were offered as 383 4-speeds. This 'Cuda is a matching numbers California car and is a real FY1 Lemon Twist Yellow car. Other features include a 383 4-barrel motor, 3.55 high performance axle package, power disc brakes, power top and driving lights. The outside this car has an elastomeric front bumper and hood tie-downs. The inside is dressed up with bucket seats, console as well as the Rally dash. This is 1 of only 68 cars like it in the world and is covered in Lemon Twist Yellow to boot.
