Description
Lot #669 - This car has a non-matching numbers 396 big block, Turbo 400, cold air conditioning, tilt steering and clock dash. It has been a California Black Plate, female owner car its whole life. The first female owner purchased the car in 1969 and the second female owner bought the car in 1974. The third owner purchased the car in 2007. The big block was rebuilt in 2006 as well as the Turbo 400. The front suspension was completely rebuilt at the same time. The car has just been painted Cortez silver with base coat/clear coat and polished to a mirror finish. The factory SS stripe has been painted back to factory specs. The condition of the car is outstanding and has won several awards in its class. The paint and body lines are perfect and looks great with a very deep finish. There are no rust issues since it has been a California car all its life. Underneath this car is as nice as the top side. This is one well taken care of 1969 Chevelle. The factory SS wheels, which came on the car from the factory, have been completely restored. The new vinyl top really sets off the factory SS stripe. The black interior is in near perfect condition. This car runs and drives better than it looks.
