Description
Lot #48 - The car was brought to Arizona on a trailer and registered it with the original VIN number, which is visible stamped on the frame in the engine compartment and 2 more times on the frame which is visible when the body is off. I completely disassembled the car down to the frame. I had the frame and certain parts to the frame sandblasted and powdercoated. I had all the body parts sanded and painted. There was no rust on the vehicle and no bondo or other fillings were needed or used in the restoration. I had taken the engine out and had it completely rebuilt stock. All of the gauges are original and all work. The radio is original as is the speaker and it works fine. It just takes a little time to warm up. All the chrome pieces are original and have been re-chromed. We took over 100 pictures as we progressed in the restoration. The interior is done with a kit from Cartouche. The windows have been replaced by Bell glass, except for the rear window which is original. All the wiring was replaced. The tires and tubes are from Coker. Brake drums are original and were turned. Shoes were replaced as were the wheel cylinders and master cylinder.
