Eric Clapton owned and played Roland guitar, 1982. Roland G-505 guitar, serial number K824044 from the early '80s with bright red body, with double cutaways and matching headstock on maple neck. As sold by Clapton at Christies in 1999. Eric Clapton said that he used this guitar synth during the Edge of Darkness period circa 1985. The guitar comes with original black contour hardshell case wih black plush lining and Lee Dickson's hand written adhesive paper label Roland Synth GTR C. Apple #K 824044; and a GR 700 guitar synthesiser floor unit (serial no. 400401), and a PG 200 unit (serial no.314451).
