Lot #1222 - This car is based on the Auburn 88 speedster that broke several speed records at the Atlantic Speedway in 1928. The drive train is all Auburn with its 246.6 cubic straight eight fitted with twin carburetors. the car has a masterfully created alloy body with cycle fenders filled with oversized tires and wheels. Additional equipment includes Brooklands Screens, external exhaust, Stewart Warner Instrumentation, black leather interior, 4 wheel vented alloy brakes, alloy fuel filler, quick release alloy steering wheel and an alloy oil cooler mounted to the front frame member.
