Lot #1583 - This design from Chief Designer Blair Taylor has had possibly the most media attention of Gravity Racers the world over, being seen in numerous automotive publications in both Europe and North America, demonstrating an unparalleled PR commitment in the Gravity Racing world. A well-worked and well-resolved mix of the tried and tested composite body on alloy tubular frame, the design displays an aerodynamic elegance, which saw it post the highest speed award at the Jack's Peak Drive race. The narrow track package is enabled not by the trickery of a 4 wheel steering system utilized by some of its rivals, but a more conventional column, steering smaller diameter tires to minimize body height and width. The requirements of such a design necessitate a rear wheel only braking system, which made for spectacular finishing line activity at the Shady Canyon race, only the addition of the Mazda brake shute would have made more of a spectacle.
