Description
Lot #79 - This car has never been out of the State of Kansas until now. The documentation and history records that come with this car is tremendous. ALL NUMBERS MATCH. This is the first time being offered for sale in over 14 years. I found this car stored in a barn in the rural Olpe, Kansas area. It was purchased new by Zane and Donna Wilson of Osage City, Kansas in 1969 and was sold to their neighbor Mr. Randy L. Rude in 1992. I purchased the car from Mr. Rude on November 30th, 2005 and began restoration at that time. I completed a body off rotissorie restoration in November, 2006. All the sheet metal is original as well as most of the components. Included are photos of the original components which show the serial numbers and casting numbers. Any parts that needed replaced, which were very few, were replaced with NOS parts. Original parts include the exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, water pump housing, heads, engine, transmission, pinion housing, rear axle shafts, rear suspension, front suspension, road wheels and the carburetor. All the chrome and trim is original as well. this beautiful 69 Charger R/T is restored to its original specifications as built in 1969. Original equipment includes: 440V8/ 375HP engine, 3.23 suregrip rear end, A727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission, factory air conditioning (works great), power front disc brakes, vinyl bucket seats, woodgrain console with floor shift, 3-speed wipers with electric washers, hood mounted turn signals, tachometer, auto speed control, AM radio with 8 track player, vinyl top, stripe delete, 26" radiator, Goodyear Redline F70 X 14 Bias Ply Tires, undercoating with hood pad, light package, wheel lip and drip rail moldings, hemi suspension with torsion bars, and gauge package. This car comes with the following documentation: two production Broadcast sheets (one was still in the rear seat springs, complete decode report by Galen Govier, Chrysler Registry certificate by Galen Govier (number 11 of 167), a complete portfolio and list of all the original components (with photos), original owners manual, original decals, odometer statements for the 93,476 actual miles, photos of the before and after restoration, many restoration receipts. Here's a chance to own a piece of history that has never been tampered with and has never been out of the State of Kansas until now and has all the documentation to verify its authenticity, First time offered for sale in more than 14 years. Don't miss this opportunity of a life time.
