With its vault-like unit construction, live-rear axle, front disc/rear drum brakes, and a bullet proof engine, road tests of the time put the performance on par with the Porsche 356B and Alfa Romeo Giulletta Sprint. Imported from Europe in 2002 by its then owner, the famed Experimental Jazz musician Tord Bengtsson, this P1800S has undergone a restoration since it's arrival into the states.
