Lot #1279 - This 1969 Yenko Chevelle comes factory equipped with COPO 9562, a special performance package including the L-72 425 HP 427 cubic inch big block, special Super Sport hood, grill and rear panel. It also came equipped with a dual exhaust system, increased cooling capacity and special suspension and was specifically engineered for drag race competition. This Chevelle also received COPO 9737 - sports car conversion, which included a larger diameter, 13/16", front stabilizer bar, rear sway bar and extremely rare 15X7 Yenko Atlas Cast Rally wheels with F70 raised white letter tires. Don Yenko built only 99 1969 Chevelles - this low mile, fully documented and extremely rare piece is 1 of only 22 still in existence. Only 7 Fathom Green Yenko Chevelles were produced and only 13 of the original 99 were equipped with automatic transmissions. Of those 13, this is the only one known to exist with a column shift, making this truly a 1 of 1 vehicle.
