Lot #1352 - This is an ultra cool '48 Cadillac coupe that has been superbly restored and customized to the highest standards while still keeping the basic shape and lines of this icon of automotive design. All the chrome trim and body were restored to a gleaming, arrow straight, show car standard but left otherwise unmolested. The paint is finished in modern Cadillac White Diamond Pearl, under the hood is a 1977 DeVille 425 big block V8 with DeVille automatic transmission and rear brakes. The front clip isn't Cadillac, but it is out of a '69 Firebird. Inside, the custom interior features glove soft two tone upholstery over the original seat frames, all new carpets and headliner, a modern stereo system, and Vintage Air system. The stereo and air conditioning are nicely integrated and almost completely hidden staying true to the theme of keeping a vintage look, and subtle power window switches have been added along with a polished tilt steering column and custom steering wheel. This car drives superb with spirited performance and a healthy sound track from a full dual exhaust system. Simply put, this awesome'48 Caddy is an absolute show-stopper that was built with an unlimited budget to the highest standards in every way.
