Description
Lot #369.1 - This is a very cool Impala SS with some resto-rod touches from what many consider to be the ultimate year for these cars, 1962. Under the hood is a "built" 350cid V8 with Edelbrock aluminum intake and 4 barrel carburetor, Hedman free flow headers, electronic ignition, aluminum valve covers, and more. This Impala rolls on Eagle Alloys billet wheels with an aggressive, hunkered stance. Inside you will notice that there is a Hurst shifter for the 4-speed transmission with the classic white Hurst shift ball. Autometer auxiliary gauges that have been added and the rest of the interior has been refinished in all new black upholstery, new white headliner, lots of new trim, new carpets with embroidered logo floor mats, and more. The classic look is retained with the original dash, original steering wheel, original handles and knobs, and even the original Motorola "Golden Voice" radio. With a 4-speed, black on black color combination, a vocal and powerful V8 under the hood, and high-quality overall execution, this Impala SS is a real showstopper.
