Lot #52 - This 1937 Hudson Terraplane Utility Coupe is a very rare and unusual car. It looks like a handome passenger car, but with its deck lid raised, it's second personality emerges. For hidden in the recess of the Terraplanes rear deck, is a pickup box. The box slides out to either of two positions that can be locked in place. This is a very sharp utility coup and sports a Banjo steering wheel, fog lights, and other nice touches. Hudson and Terraplane models of 1937 where quite remarkable machines capturing 40 official AAA sanctioned performance and durabilty records on the salt flats of Bonneville, Utah.
