Description
Lot #783 - This custom 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a rebuilt Z06 5.7-liter LS engine that was dyno-tested, with the engine now breathing through a 2.5-inch exhaust exiting in the stock location. The transmission is a rebuilt 4L60E 4-speed automatic with a 2,500-rpm stall torque converter. The red exterior with a white convertible soft-top is complemented by a red leather interior that includes the bucket seats, dash and door panels with red carpet. The interior also features aftermarket gauges framed by a 15-inch teakwood steering wheel and an AM/FM radio. This custom convertible is sitting on an upgraded 1966 Corvette chassis with Van Steel coilovers and tubular control arms and is equipped with Borgeson close-ratio steering gear and C2 Corvette-style disc brake kit. All this is rolling on stock-type wheels with knock-off caps and radial tires. Seller states the chassis is a replacement from another vehicle.
