Lot #675 - This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air custom coupe is powered by a modified 383CI stroker V8 engine. Modifications to the drivetrain components include a Holley 750 CFM carburetor, Holley fuel system, MSD ignition, aluminum heads and intake manifold, custom valve covers and air cleaner, custom Earl Williams headers, hand-built exhaust, Flowmaster Super 40 Series mufflers with titanium thermal coating, Matson's radiator, SPAL electric fans, handmade tubing hoses, a billet serpentine system, stainless-steel plumbing and billet hood hinges. Power from the custom 383ci stroker engine is sent to the ground via a 700R4 transmission, 9-inch Ford rear end and Currie axles. The hand-built Earl Williams boxed frame has been fitted with a Heidts front end, a 4-link rear suspension kit and QA1 adjustable coilovers. Stopping power is handled by a Wilwood master cylinder. Up front it has Superlite rotors and calipers. In the rear it has 12-inch Dynalite rotors and Dynalite calipers. This 1955 Bel Air rides on staggered Boyd Coddington Smoothie II wheels; 17x7 on the front and 18x10 on the rear. The custom interior features front seats from Lexus and custom seats in the rear, as well as a custom center console. Additional interior features include an audio system comprised of Pioneer, Rockford and Fosgate components, a Lokar shifter, Lokar pedals, Classic Instruments Bel Air gauges, smoked glass power windows, a Vintage Air system with billet vents, a Flaming River steering column, a reduced-diameter OEM-look 15-inch steering wheel, LED lighting and custom aluminum trim.
