This original Ermine White 1968 Camaro Z/28 was built in Norwood, OH. It is powered by its matching-numbers drivetrain, with the 302/290hp V8 engine backed by an M21 4-speed Muncie transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears. The engine was built and certified by Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish on November 19, 2022, and has less than 100 miles since being balanced and dyno-tested at over 353hp by Camaro Hi-Performance. It is equipped with front power disc brakes and rear drums as built by the factory. The brake master cylinder and brake booster are date-correct and rebuilt by Camaro Hi-Performance in 2022. The interior and exterior match the trim identification tag on the firewall. A total repaint was completed in June 2022 and shows the correct black striping. The exterior features include chrome bumpers, rear chrome bumper guards, and front and rear spoilers. All machine work was completed and tested by Automotive Specialist Racing, a division of Hendrick Motor Racing, and is documented. This Camaro Z/28 has a center console with all the proper special instrumentation. The dash has the optional Tic-Toc-Tach and speed warning indicator. It is rolling on correct Rally wheels wrapped in E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires. There were 7,199 Camaro Z/28s built in 1968 with a white exterior and red interior. This car is accompanied by the Certificate of Authenticity from Camaro Hi-Performance on the engine, including all the Build Sheets and dyno documentation from Automotive Speed Racing dated September 20, 2022. All engine and drivetrain components are matching numbers and date-code correct. The car shows 35,650 miles (title reads exempt).
