Lot #750 - This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE is the product of a nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration. It is powered by its matching-numbers V-code 440ci Six-Pack engine producing 390hp with an N96 Shaker hood mated to an A727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission with a Special Performance Dana 60 rear axle and a 3.54 Sure-Grip center. It is one of 296 V-code Challenger R/T SEs produced in 1970, with optioning as part of the SE package, one of 15 produced with a N96 Shaker hood and one of seven V-code Shaker cars with the TorqueFlite automatic transmission. This Challenger sits on a HEMI chassis with suspension parts and heavy-duty cooling. The exterior has received a clean refinish in a high-impact F7 Plum Crazy exterior paint with body-stripe delete, hood pins and dual-chrome mirrors. Inside, this Dodge is optioned by the houndstooth bucket seat interior, which is divided by the center console and the SE overhead console above that. It features power steering, power windows, the rim-blow steering wheel, a factory-optional AM/FM radio and a rear window defogger, with wood-grain trim appliques on the dash and console. It rides on Rallye wheels with Goodyear F60-15 Polyglas tires. This vehicle is a former Mopar Nationals show winner.
