Description
Lot #787.1 - This 1972 Chevrolet K10 pickup was disassembled to the frame and rebuilt. The undercarriage has been sanded down and painted while fitted with a Dana 44 Front axle. Candy Blue and chrome accent the undercarriage and are fitted throughout the chassis. The fuel cell has been relocated to the rear of the truck and the truck has been fitted with an air-ride system to handle the additional weight and towing capabilities. Additional equipment includes a 4-inch suspension lift, Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks and steering stabilizer. Once the undercarriage was finished, the stock 350 engine was removed and a General Motors turbo-diesel engine was retrofitted to a factory look and mated with a 5-speed transmission. With dual batteries and power steering under the hood, this truck drives and pulls like a dream. With the body pulled off the truck, the cab and bed were coated and sent off to be painted Brilliant White from front to back. With the body back on the truck new factory bumpers and trim were applied and the windows tinted. Lastly the truck needed the final touches to the outside, so 33x12.50x15 BFGoodrich tires were mounted on 15x10 WELD Typhoon wheels. Inside is a completely redone interior featuring the Brilliant White carried through, a billet aluminum steering wheel, reupholstered seat and door panels, and a Bluetooth stereo. This truck has few miles since the build and has won many local awards.
