Description
Lot #1581.1 - This 1971 Chevrolet K10 original 4-wheel-drive pickup has been restored to look like it would have been bought in '71. The truck has been through a full frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration that started with having the frame torn down, sandblasted and powder-coated Charcoal Gray. A 4-inch Rough County full suspension lift was added while still using the 12-bolt rear axle and the Dana 44 front axle. Brake lines and fuel lines have all been replaced with stainless steel. Polyurethane body mounts were used when installing the body to the frame. The body has been painted in a medium blue poly and white base coat/clear coat finish. The exterior also features wood-grain side moldings, a wood-grain tailgate band and a new grille. All the glass has been replaced with Euro-gray tinted glass, along with all of the seals. The powertrain in the truck consists of a 350ci small-block Chevrolet engine paired to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with an NP205 transfer case. A full Flowmaster mandrel-bent stainless-steel exhaust has been installed on the truck. The power disc brakes are fed by a Wilwood master cylinder and booster setup. A custom-bolstered seat was built to simulate factory bucket seats but retains the use for a third passenger. The interior also features factory deluxe door panels, molded custom audio sound kick panels, a Sure-Grip steering wheel, and factory gauges with tachometer and vacuum gauges. This truck rides on a set of 17-inch U.S. wheels that feature a set of premium half-ton 4x4 caps. They are wrapped in a set of 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
