Description
Lot #812 - This custom 1978 Ford F-250 pickup underwent a professional frame-off 2-year restoration that was completed in 2021. There are only a few hundred shakedown miles since completion. The power comes from a 429ci V8 engine paired with a completely rebuilt stock manual 4-speed transmission and transfer case supplying power to the full floating Dana 60 rear and high-pinion Dana 60 front differentials. All drivetrain components have been sandblasted, rebuilt and powder-coated. The engine exhales through headers and a factory-style exhaust system. The front disc brakes have been upgraded with dual-piston calipers. The factory air-conditioned cab with XLT Ranger trim has been fully insulated with sound and vibration matting and upgraded with an Old Air Products climate-control system, along with a RetroSound stereo system equipped with Bluetooth capability. The factory gauge and dash components were completely restored. The tunes come through four JBL speakers. A new Painless wiring harness was installed, along with other upgrades. This F-250 rides on BFGoodrich 17-inch tires mounted on Pro Comp oval slotted polished aluminum wheels. Everything on this truck that could be powder-coated was powder-coated. The exterior is finished in DeBeer paint and materials.
