Description
Lot #1375 - This 1953 Kindig CF1 Roadster #8 Barrett-Jackson Licensed Edition features all the same details as the standard options of the Kindig CF1 roadsters, but has many custom touches to make it extremely unique and collectible. The styling of the CF1 is unmistakable, from the custom headlights, sectioned body, contoured wheel arches, chopped and laid-back windshield to the flip-up taillights revealing the Hagan gas cap and the built-in C-Tek battery tender. This #8 car features all brightwork in polished nickel by Ogden Chrome including the one-off Kindig-designed wheels by EVOD. Other one-off features include the custom houndstooth SIAM red leather by JS Custom Interiors, custom Dakota Digital gauges with Barrett-Jackson and Kindig-It logos, as well as the badges on the cowl and valve covers commemorating the collaboration. The 652rwhp with 580 ft/lbs of torque comes from Lingenfelter Performance in the form of the Eliminator 427ci LS topped with Borla 8-stack injection, Ultimate stainless headers, a full stainless custom exhaust and a single Borla cross-over muffler. The chassis is finished in a semi-gloss black powder-coat by Pacific Coast Powder Coating, and all hardware is chrome. Stopping power is provided by 6-piston front and 4-piston rear Wilwood 14-inch disc brakes. There is a complete Bluetooth Kicker audio system with an 8-inch subwoofer and four 6-inch components. This beauty weighs an amazingly low 3,025 pounds with a full tank of gas. This Kindig CF1 #8 Barrett-Jackson Licensed Edition comes with all the original hand-drawn renderings and CAD modeling sheets, paint and material samples, as well as a matching-themed "Reverend" Guitar.
