Lot #134.1 - This 1989 Ford Bronco XLT is a Fourth-Generation Bronco, marked by the previous years' trend toward aerodynamic design forging ahead with sculpted edges (both inside and out), replacing boxy corners. On the engineering side, new powertrain and safety updates took center stage. This 1989 Ford Bronco was sold new at Bell Ford in Phoenix, AZ. It is a clean example of a original Arizona Bronco. This Bronco is refinished in the original hue of Ford Bright Red over a solid and straight body. The interior is finished in the original Dark Charcoal with a captain's chair, cloth seat upholstery and plush carpeting. The brightwork has been replaced or restored to a show-finish. This optioned Bronco started with the upgraded XLT Trim Package, which includes high-back captain's chair and bucket seats, with a center console. It has received optional equipment, including a HO 351ci EFI engine, the largest, most powerful engine available, with a performance exhaust system. The engine is mated to a heavy-duty C6 automatic transmission. It also features 4-wheel drive, a heavy-duty Dana 44 front axle with automatic locking hubs, a heavy-duty 6.6-inch rear axle with posi-traction, heavy-duty Off-Road Suspension and shocks in the front and rear, along with front and rear sway bars. This Bronco is equipped with a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, air conditioning and a swing-out tire carrier. It is upgraded with a stereo system with Bluetooth capability and heavy-duty steering stabilization. It rides on 15x10 aluminum alloy wheels with 35-inch General Grabber All-Terrain radial tires.
