Lot #1114.1 - This custom 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup was completed by the Kustom Built Cars Non-Profit Educational Automotive Restoration Workshop. This 5-month build was created through the education, dedication and passion of five young students. The power is generated by a 6.2-liter supercharged LSA engine paired with a 6L80 automatic transmission that sends acceleration through a custom-built chassis. It is equipped with a Mustang 2 front suspension and custom 4-inch link, 9-inch rear end with 14-inch Wilwood disc brakes and a CORSA exhaust. This pickup is finished in Ethereal Candy Red paint and features a custom-stained black oak wood bed, chrome accents and Coy's custom 20-inch deep chrome wheels with a Charcoal accent. The custom leather interior is by JS Customs, with Dakota Digital gauges, a Retro Manufacturing stereo system, a Vintage Air system and smoked glass. This Chevrolet is fueling the next generation of automotive restoration and preservation professionals. The Kustom Built Cars non-profit training and mentorship program proudly educates through tactile hands-on experience, and this 1954 Chevrolet pickup is the result.
