Description
Lot #1550.1 - This matching-numbers 1959 Toyota Land Cruiser is an early FJ25 that underwent a full frame-off, rotisserie nut-and-bolt restoration to original standards completed by experts. The engine is mated to its original 4-speed manual transmission. It features front disc brakes and rear rebuilt original drum brakes, a new factory-replica aluminized exhaust system by Vetusil, and fully serviced and resealed OEM axles. The seats are covered in brown upholstery, with matching boots for the gear shift, transfer case selector and handbrake. This Land Cruiser is finished in its original dark green and features a soft-top with the doors customized with acrylic windows. The original cluster and dash switches were also restored. Additional features include an old Toyota-original dash, original steering wheel, and original Toyota emblems in the front panels and hood, as well as the original chrome strips on the horizontal grille.
