Lot #458.1 - It was originally purchased in Oregon and was stored for nearly 50 years, the car was then purchased by the previous owner who restored the car. The car was stripped to bare metal and the color changed from blue to black. It was rechromed and all the stainless trim was polished. It is powered by a the original rebuilt Straight-8 engine using bearing inserts on the rods and crank, new rocker assemblies, Tri-Power manifold with fabrication done by Hells Gate, with Stromberg 97s, and headers by Dougs of Auburn. It is equipped with a starter, electric water pump and 140-amp alternator. It has a Vintage Air system, transmission adaptor by Bilstein, Chevrolet Aluminum bell housing, GM 11-inch flywheel and clutch, Mopar NP833 440 4-speed transmission, Hurst linkage, GM disc brakes in the front and Ford disc brakes in the rear, and a 1974 Lincoln rear differential with 4.11 gears. Other highlights include a new fuel tank with remote electric fuel pump, rebuilt power top motor and pump, all new windows, doors and trunk seals, a rebuilt radiator and new wiring harness. This car also has air-ride suspension by RideTech on all four corners.
