Lot #1077 - This factory short-bed custom 1967 Chevrolet K10 is one of 1,046 produced that year. It underwent a complete frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration with power provided by a brand-new GM Connect and Cruise 420hp crate LS3 engine and 6L80E transmission backed by a rebuilt NP205 transfer case. There's an all-new Holley mid-mount serpentine front runner retrofitted with Billet Specialties valve covers. The engine bay has been completely shaved and has zero holes visible, and the wiring has been hidden. The truck has been retrofitted with a brand-new quick-ratio Borgeson power steering box. A brand-new aluminum Champion radiator has been used, along with dual electric fans and custom-built stainless radiator tubes and air intake. The truck has been taken down to bare metal and completely reworked, including perfecting the door gaps for a high-end finish. This pickup has been completely painted from top to bottom with Sherwin-Williams base coat/clear coat Cement Gray accented by Linen White. It has all-new factory clear glass and rubber throughout, as well as all-new chrome and MAR-K side trim. The gas tank has been moved to the rear using a Boyd welding aluminum tank and custom-built hidden LED taillight filler door. Inside the bed is a new MAR-K wood finish in a custom-mixed stain and hidden fasteners on the stainless bed strips. This K10 has a dual 2.5-inch stainless mandrel-bent TIG-welded Borla exhaust. It is also equipped with an all-new Wilwood master cylinder and Hydro-Boost power 4-wheel disc brakes. The K10 sits on a set of 17-inch KMC Machete beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich tires. The chassis is coated in gloss black and has new stainless-steel brake lines, fuel lines and body bushings. The truck sits on custom-built Alcan 4-inch lift springs and new Fox shocks. Both the front and rear axles were completely rebuilt with a Yukon rear locker and new differential covers. The inside of the cab has been completely Raptor-lined and sound-deadened. The full custom interior is wrapped in black leather and Relicate plaid inserts. The seat has been retrofitted with bolstered Snowden foam. The dash is finished off with a brand-new set of Classic Instrument gauges. The stereo is powered by a RetroSound head unit with custom-made kick panels, a custom-made behind-the-seat panel with built-in cleaning supply storage and towels, a slim MB Quart 10-inch subwoofer and an under-the-seat MB Quart amp. Underneath the dash is an all-new wiring harness. The interior is cooled by a new Vintage Air system. A fully rebuilt factory tilt column has a brand-new original steering wheel painted to match. The glove box has a remade SPID sticker showing all factory options. The truck was featured in the 2022 SEMA Show Battle of the Builders, earning a Top 40.
