Description
Lot #1052.1 - This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was recently restored and finished in teal over a silver paint scheme. It is powered by a GM Performance big-block 502ci RamJet crate engine that puts out over 500hp and 565 ft/lbs of torque, mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The entire intake assembly was hand-polished, along with the valve covers, to a mirror finish, and a hand-built stainless exhaust system was installed. The front suspension is Corvette C4 with QA1 coilover adjustable shocks and the rear suspension is a 4-link Ford 9-inch with matching QA1 shocks. Stopping power is provided by the latest Wilwood design. The interior features a Vintage Air system and seats that are trimmed in hand-stitched Italian black leather. Behind the seats hides a booming multi-amp sound system with J&L subwoofers. The car rolls on custom Boyd Coddington billet wheels wrapped in Nitto tires.
