Description
Lot #744 - This 1934 Ford Victoria custom sedan is powered by a small-block Chevrolet engine hooked to a 3-speed automatic transmission and topped with an Edelbrock intake and a Edelbrock electronic choke carburetor. The engine breathes through a MagnaFlow stainless-steel exhaust and it is cooled by a new radiator with manual and electric parade fans. This vehicle features a custom TCI chassis with IFS and heavy-duty crossmember center section that has been painted to match the body color. The complete front suspension includes a custom spindle and divorced steering arm, while an offset eccentric upper control arm mounting provides easy alignment. The rear is composed of 4-link suspension with QA1 adjustable coilovers and a 9-inch Ford rear end with 31-spline axles. Other suspension components include heavy-duty upper and lower control arms, as well as heavy-duty upper and lower screw-in ball joints, Energy Suspension bushings, and a performance front anti-roll bar riding on a set of Halibrand 15-inch polished vintage Sprint Wheels staggered 14 inches and 15 inches with knock-off caps. Stopping is provided by power brakes with master cylinder and booster controlling the front disc vented rotors with big-bore calipers and the rear drum brakes, and the car also features custom steel brake lines. This body-off restoration took three years. The all-steel body is painted House of Kolor Brandywine with subtle pinstriping complemented by a custom leather interior with a Vintage Air system, LoKar gas and brake pedal assembly, power windows, custom gauges and a custom stereo. Other highlights include a working trunk with popper, a new fuel cell and Hooligan headlights. This vehicle has spent the last seven years in a collection. It won the 2015 Goodguys Builders Choice Award and was Best in Class at the Goodguys Nationals in Del Mar, CA.
