Lot #747.1 - This custom 1957 Chevrolet Nomad wagon Resto-Mod was a Mattel Hot Wheels prototype car designed and owned by Bruce Schultz, the owner of Bodylines in Woodland Hills, CA. This Nomad is powered by a 327ci V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with an aluminum radiator, aluminum valve covers and trim, and chrome trim. It rides on new BFGoodrich tires. It features a new interior with power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, Classic Instruments gauges and a Secret Audio radio with a remote. This car was featured - along with its Mattel Diecast companion, a custom mid-engine '57 Nomad called "No-Nomad" - at the 2017 Grand National Roadster Show. Included with the car is a new Hot Wheels diecast model still in the box, the licensing agreements and documents, documentation from Mattel, receipts and records.
