Lot #747.1 - This custom 1957 Chevrolet Nomad wagon Resto-Mod was a Mattel Hot Wheels prototype car designed and owned by Bruce Schultz, the owner of Bodylines in Woodland Hills, CA. This Nomad is powered by a 327ci V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with an aluminum radiator, aluminum valve covers and trim, and chrome trim. It rides on new BFGoodrich tires. It features a new interior with power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, Classic Instruments gauges and a Secret Audio radio with a remote. This car was featured - along with its Mattel Diecast companion, a custom mid-engine '57 Nomad called "No-Nomad" - at the 2017 Grand National Roadster Show. Included with the car is a new Hot Wheels diecast model still in the box, the licensing agreements and documents, documentation from Mattel, receipts and records. This 1957 Chevrolet Nomad is from the RPM Collection of Phoenix, AZ.
