Description
Lot #1049 - This frame-off restored custom 1967 Chevrolet K20 pickup is powered by a Cummins turbo-diesel 12-valve engine with a P-pump and intercooler. It is hooked to an NV4500 5-speed manual transmission and 3/4-ton 8-lug axles. The body is finished in GM's Omaha Orange and GM White two-tone base coat/clear coat with Mar-K lower moldings that have been wood-grained for that Cheyenne twist. The tailgate is sporting a wood-grain band and the fenders have one-off billet Cheyenne/Cummins emblems. The complementing interior has Parchment White seats with Orange Highlander plaid inserts. Other highlights include deluxe door panels with wood grain throughout and a retro stereo. The cab has been UPOL Raptor-lined, top and bottom, for sound-deadening and heat. This custom features power steering and power disc brakes, as well as 16x10 steel wheels with correct factory hubcaps on 35-inch BFGoodrich tires. The fuel tank has been relocated underneath the bed, and the exhaust system and intercooler have been coated in Cerakote Burnt Bronze.
