Lot #978 - This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro went through a frame-off rotisserie restoration. It is powered by an LQ4 6.0-liter fuel-injected engine controlled by Holley Terminator X ECU. The engine has a mild cam with stainless-steel headers and a full stainless-steel exhaust system with an X-pipe. The engine is cooled by a Champion dual-pass radiator with an electric fan, and is mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission equipped with a hydraulic clutch. Finished in black with white Z28-style stripes and an SS hood, the car rides on a TCI front subframe with adjustable coilover suspension and rack & pinion steering. It also has TCI rear suspension and a 4-link adjustable coilover setup with a 9-inch Ford 3.55 ratio Yukon Gear limited-slip rear end, with the front and rear subframes tied together. An Aeromotive in-tank fuel pump supplies fuel to the engine. The interior features TMI seats, a dash pad with a custom-built center console and a Grant steering wheel with a Ididit tilt steering column. It is equipped with a Dual DMCPA70 stereo with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a rear-view camera and Dakota Digital gauges that communicate with the Holley EFI system. The convertible top is powered by an electric over a hydraulic system. It has a completely new wire harness from American Autowire. This car rides on U.S. Mags Rambler wheels that measure 18x8 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear, wrapped in Kumho Ecsta PS91 tires.
