Lot #665.2 - This 1966 Buick Skylark Grand Sport is powered by its original, restored 401ci Nailhead engine topped with its original rebuilt Carter AFB 4-barrel carburetor, headers and a new exhaust. Putting out a factory-rated 325hp and 445 ft/lbs of torque, the engine is mated to the optional Super Turbine 300 2-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter. Putting all that power to the ground is the original heavy-duty 10-bolt 2.93:1-ratio rear end. It rides on new 17-inch wheels and tires. Stopping power is provided by upgraded 4-wheel disc brakes with a dual reservoir master cylinder. It received a complete front-end rebuild with all-new parts, including upper and lower control arms, ball joints, tie rods, stabilizer links, a stabilizer bar, shocks and all bushings. It is finished in fresh Daytona Yellow paint with all-new badges and letters and, features rechromed bumper, a new wiring harness from firewall forward and a new convertible top with new a hydraulic pump and pistons. It is equipped with a new carpet, GS floor mats, seats, door handles inside and out, window cranks, rubber seals and interior panels. A new car cover is included in the sale.
