Lot #24.1 - This 1974 Super Beetle was fully restored in 2019. This Beetle includes new upholstery, a rebuilt 1600cc 4-cylinder engine mated to a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. The engine compartment has been upgraded to chrome and the alternator, starter, fuel pump and its system are completely new. This car is finished in a brighter shade than its original Competition Orange. The bumpers on this Beetle are original, along with the wheels, which were refinished to black, and it rides on new tires. The rest of the exterior trim was also finished in black with corrosion protection applied to the undercarriage. The newly upholstered interior includes the seats and roof lining. The dash panel was restored and custom orange stitching was added to match the outside of the vehicle. The front storage was also restored and a new carpet was installed.
