Description
Lot #1037 - This 1967 GMC C10 custom short-bed pickup was the Great 8 winner in 2008 with over 110 body mods and took First Place at America's Most Beautiful Roadster show in 2009. This pickup is equipped with an Art Morrison chassis with a narrowed 9-inch rear end. It is powered by a 350ci ZZ4 small-block engine with a Weiand 144 series supercharger blower kit, Hot Cam kit and aluminum heads, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The interior features custom one-off billet wheels and a steering wheel to match, Italian leather seat and door panels with a painted interior. It is finished in a custom two-toned Metal Flake Candy paint job, the exterior and bed were chopped over 3-inches, and the front and rear fenders were pinched to create a smaller wheel well. It has suicide doors and a completely shaved and molded body, along with flush-mount glass in the front and rear. The cowl was removed and the hood was extended to go all the way back to the windshield. It has a molded one-piece front end and the bottom of the doors was extended to hide the rockers. The dash was smoothed and upgraded with Dakota Digital gauges, and this pickup has a smoothed and painted floor inside the cab with matching engine-turned billet aluminum rails and wood slats.
