Description
Lot #671 - This is a period-correct replica restoration of a 1951 International Metro Snap-on Tools walk-in display van that is adorned with period-correct vintage tools and equipment. Powered by the original 2200cc 6-cylinder Silver Diamond engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It has undergone four complete restorations which included the 1951 Snap-on Tools top chest and roll cab, transmission tools display board, 1959 Anal-O-Scope as well as the vehicle itself. The maple hardwood floor is adorned with painted logos used through the years. The custom cabinets were built in a 50s style with linoleum countertops and a backboard display. There is also a full display of period-correct vintage Snap-on Tools. The lettering on the outside of the truck was hand-painted as would have been originally done. The drivetrain is also original except for the front hubs and rear end, which are out of a Chevrolet pickup.
