Lot #426.1 - Finished in black, this 1966 Ford Fairlane GT has been professionally restored and features upgraded technology. Powered by an upgraded new stroked 420ci FE engine equipped with Trick Flow CNC-ported heads with PRW roller rockers and an Edelbrock RPM intake manifold. It's fed with Holley Stealth electronic fuel injection for rapid throttle response. The powerhouse engine is backed by a TKX 5-speed manual transmission with a 0.68 overdrive ratio that is matched to a Ford 9-inch posi-rear end with a 3.91 gear. The engine breathes through a set of Doug's ceramic-coated headers feeding MagnaFlow mufflers. The HyperSpark ignition system is controlled by the Holley EFI. The front suspension is a complete custom adjustable coilover strut design, with the rear suspension consisting of a modified leaf setup tied into the custom-fabricated sub frame connectors with for improved traction and braking. Stopping is handled with a power-assisted master cylinder with Kelsey-Hayes calipers clamping on 1.25-inch-thick front rotors and disc brakes in the rear. The GT bucket seat interior also has been gone through and upgraded. The dash pad is new, and the dash bezels have all been refurbished and re-chromed to better than new. The original dash cluster has been upgraded with Dakota Digital gauges and features a center console with upgraded panels as well as a Bluetooth-capable RetroSound radio with an amplifier feeding JBL speakers. All the exterior trim has been stripped and re-anodized. The tire and wheel combination completes the aggressive look of this Fairlane GT with 18-inch rear and 17-inch front aluminum wheels with a chrome finish all wrapped in Firestone Firehawk tires.
