Lot #659 - Although not widely known, Lamborghini's first foray into the "vehicle" market was with farm tractors starting in 1948. This 1963 Lamborghini tractor ("trattore" in Italian) is the rarer 2R model. This 2R tractor has undergone a very correct professional restoration back to 1963 factory specifications. Power is provided by an air-cooled 2193cc 3-cylinder OHV diesel engine utilizing Bosch fuel injection and paired with a dual-range 4-speed manual transmission and a rear portal axle. Equipment includes dual rear power take-off shafts, drum brakes and a rear spotlight. The tractor proudly wears the traditional Lamborghini Trattori orange and contrasting blue paint scheme. All the badging is factory-correct, and it has its original forward headlights, rear lights, work light, original gauges, key, gas cap and toolbox.
