Lot #733.1 - Finished in PPG special-mix Charcoal Metallic, this custom 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a new 6.2-liter LT1 GM Performance crate engine with an Edelbrock supercharger, mated to a new 4L65E automatic transmission from GM Performance and features Painless wiring. Equipped with a polished Be Cool custom radiator, custom ceramic headers with 3-inch polished stainless steel exhaust, MagnaFlow mufflers and custom tips. Additionally, it features a Vintage Air climate-control system, power rack & pinion steering, power windows and a custom '67-style power hood with a 2013 ZR1 hood insert, as well as Rick's custom stainless-steel gas tank with an in-tank fuel pump. The custom Paul Newman frame features an all-custom roller bearing suspension. Stopping power is provided by power Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. Also equipped with an independent rear suspension and a heavy-duty Dana 44 rear end with 3.43 gears. The exterior features custom-built fiberglass panels under the hood, custom headlights, Ringbrothers door handles, custom side mirrors, custom mesh grille, LED taillights and parking lights, raised tilt steering column, custom Dakota Digital gauges and a custom-built Al Knoch interior with leather reclining seats designed for larger drivers. The interior is equipped with an in-dash DVD player mounted in a custom center console with cup holders, mids and tweeters in the door, and large amplifier and subwoofer custom-built into the fully upholstered trunk. The doors and floor were lined with Dynamat for heat and sound protection. It also has a new convertible top and bows with custom gray Stayfast material. It rides on 20-inch custom Budnik wheels with a 3-piece center and wheel inserts that were painted to match the exterior color. From the Cars of Dreams Collection.
